      Description

      Updated text from Brian Samek:

We currently have a "Patch Finish" notification on https://evergreen.mongodb.com/notifications. However, this notifies the user once, when every task in a patch has finished. It would also be useful to notify a user as soon as the first task in the patch has failed. If practical, we should modify this notification type, and potentially call it "Patch Outcome". Alternatively, we could create a new notification type called "first failing task in patch", and users could subscribe to one or both of "patch finish" and "first failing task in patch".

      Original text from Luke Chen:

My understanding is currently PR patch builds are not treated differently from other patch builds, in the sense of deferring the determination of pass or failed upon completion of all tasks in the patch build.

Ideally, any task failure in a PR patch build will immediately mark the failure of the PR testing (without waiting for other tasks to complete), and cancel all other running tasks (to save build resource).
