We would like to test the driver against larger variety of compilers and library versions etc.
Currently we are stuck to whatever is available on Evergreen, but we could (and should) have a evergreen project that compiles various gcc and openssl versions (etc) for each of the distros we'd like to test on, then upload those builds to s3 where we can retrieve them in our normal test matrix and test the driver against all these versions.

This would include testing the driver on more compilers and external library versions.
