We have previously accidentally omitted spec tests (e.g. CDRIVER-2490). To prevent from happening again, we should have a way to automatically update our spec tests or perform a sanity check that we don't have out-of-date tests. We could add this to our mongo-c-driver-tools repo and periodically run it manually.
