It doesn't freeze the ui, but it does throw an error, and shows the `inserting document` message that never resolves.

We can probably show the _id off the start like how we do when the user swaps the tabs to the other view.

This might be the related bugsnag, which does error a lot, and continues to error occasionally after the user has closed the view and navigates to other views:
