      Problem Statement/Rationale

      Exporting documents in Compass is very slow comparing to a tool like `mongoexport`. This was reported on gabriel.paranthoen on [Slack](https://mongodb.slack.com/archives/C0U7K0MC3/p1643111983056000)

      Steps to Reproduce

      Connect to `compass-data-sets.e06dc.mongodb.net/citibike` and dump the `trips` collection (~2M records)

      Expected Results

      Comparable results between Compass and mongoexport
