Cloud would like to be able to plug into Compass telemetry to be able to report events to their telemetry service. Currently compass-logging package is the way we do logging and telemetry in Compass. The library is a singleton accessed directly in views and stores with no easy way to substitute or plug into the telemetry events. In the scope of this ticket we would want to investigate an approach that would allow plugins to have pluggable telemetry. We should consider our recent investigations about future of Compass state management improvements while investigating this.
