What is going wrong? What action would you like the Engineering team to take?

Compass 1.32.5 was originally installed. With Auto-Update, it was silently upgraded to 1.32.6. However, starting Compass icon from the Dock shows "Compass 1.32.5)".

Other applications only list the Application Name (no version number).

Please be sure to attach relevant logs with any sensitive data redacted.

How could an engineer replicate the issue you’re reporting?

Install Compass at least one version behind. Let it silently update.

Expected Results

What do you expect to happen?

The version number to be updated since the installed version is updated. Otherwise, when working with the Support team, the customer may give the wrong Compass version. We'll be working with incorrect information, and the diagnosis may be slower.

Actual Results

What do you observe is happening? Compass icon is 1.32.5. The "About MongoDB Compass" is 1.32.6.

This may cause problems for when using different Compass versions and Auto-Update is turned off. Or add an extra step during installation to allow user to pick the directory to install Compass into.
