What is going wrong? What action would you like the Engineering team to take?

Setting to not upgrade Compass is set because I need specific versions for testing and repro-ing purposes. It would be nice for the setting to be consistently acknowledged and observed. Did not see a banner or warning alerting me of the silent upgrade. This has happened with many previous versions of Compass.
Some users require specific, IT-approved versions of Compass for security concerns.

How could an engineer replicate the issue you’re reporting?

However, after installing 1.34.2, I recently checked the version, and it shows 1.35.0.

What do you expect to happen?

1.34.2 to stay at 1.34.2

The version shown is 1.35.0 now
