Problem Statement/Rationale

The cancel button does not cancel the hanged query generation process.

Steps to Reproduce

Enter any prompt to generate a query and run 10+ times that sometimes hangs the AI model (See COMPASS-7075).

Expected Results

If you click the Cancel button you can re-try the query generation.

Actual Results

The Cancel button does not cancel the current query generation attempt and there is no way to re-try from the current view.
