Favorite connection from the old sidebar doesn't work

      Problem Statement/Rationale

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. make sure you're in the single-connection version
      2. connect to a new connection
      3. from the 3 dot menu next to the connection name, select favorite and save
      4. disconnect -> you'll see the connection is not in the saved connections
