When a connection that does require auth, is connected without the credentials, it technically gets connected but then all the operations like listing databases / collections fails which makes the sidebar go into this infinite loading state and does not signal clearly what has happened.

There is a toast at the bottom about the warning that something went wrong with proper message as well but the sidebar has a completely different outlook that everything went well.
