      The root cause is pretty likely #6530. We see that Anna tried fixing it in #6546 before reverting in #6567, and from the variant history in https://spruce.mongodb.com/variant-history/10gen-compass-main/publish?selectedCommit=7728 it does indeed look like Anna's fix was working while it was in place for this issue (but presumably caused some other issue causing revert).
