on the one hand: This should in theory never happen since we can't really have connection errors there but i.e. in case of downtime it did appear in cloud-dev.
on the other: we also discussed just improving the prompt for DE (ie. having separate prompts for DE and Compass?) to try and help it out because the response doesn't seem to be totally unsalvageable.
