The connection pool has a wait queue that is used to queue up requests for a connection when all existing connections are already checked out.

The current implementation of the wait queue (C# driver version 1.9.x) pulls waiting callers out of the wait queue in random order, which means that some threads might end up waiting far longer than expected.

Some drivers satisfy requests for connections from the connection pool in FIFO order.
