Replication issue in secondaries

      Is there any way to ensure replication has been completed in all secondaries?
      Because we have deleted a document from DB but it takes time to replicate in all secondaries,because of this ti still shows the deleted item.
      I we provide some sleep then it is fine but it degrades our application performance.
      so please help on this
