Summary
There are untapped opportunities in the games industry, specifically Multiplayer games that we haven’t explored well. Adding support for Unity in our C# Driver for Game Servers and enterprise apps can help us unlock new revenue opportunities and a potential tech partnership with Unity.
Motivation
Who is the affected end user?
All Unity developers intending to use MongoDB in their Unity applications
How does this affect the end user?
There is a lack of discoverability in knowing whether this option even exists. Developers who try to pursue this are on their own and have no confidence in the reliability of the solution.
How likely is it that this problem or use case will occur?
Quite often, almost every user who will try to use the driver will be by themselves.
If the problem does occur, what are the consequences and how severe are they?
Varying degrees of problems may occur ranging from minor annoyances of a specific driver feature not working to compatibility issues and completely being blocked to consider MongoDB as an option.
Is this issue urgent?

Is this ticket required by a downstream team?
No
Is this ticket only for tests?
No
