      See this new changelog entry. Admittedly, I have been unable to reproduce or coerce any linker errors due to this misdeclaration, only linker warnings, so it is entirely possible that this is a benign problem.

      Currently scheduled for the next minor release (4.2.0). It may also be released in a 4.1.2 patch (TBD).

      Following this PR for CDRIVER-5946. Identified by the following MSVC warning:
