      Summary

      This project proposes to deprecate the following sharding commands, which are unused in v4.4. Once this is complete, we will be able to completely remove these commands in v4.6.

      • shardConnPoolStats
      • unsetSharding

      Motivation

      Reducing the footprint of the sharding command API will enable customers to better understand current-day sharding features, and will bring us closer to feature parity with non-sharded systems.
