      The driver is largely written using heartbeatIntervalMS rather than heartbeatFrequencyMS. While pedantically correct, deviating from the language of the specs and other drivers adds cognitive maintenance burden for no end-user benefit. We should standardize on heartbeatFrequencyMS per the spec.
