      distinct within aggregate functions is now supported

       

      select b.string, count(distinct b.primitiveInt) from Item as b
GROUP BY b.string ORDER BY b.string

      The distinct over @Structs is not supported

       

       

      select b.string, count(distinct b.struct) from Item as b
GROUP BY b.string ORDER BY b.string

      distinct within aggregates without group by are not yet supported

      HIBERNATE-205 will add support for distinct operator 

      but for this ticket we need to support distinct within a group by

      select b.string, count(distinct b.primitiveInt) from Item as b GROUP BY b.string
