MongoDB creation requires MongoDB Connection String, but that is not the only way. A programmatic way to customize MongoClientSettings is required for user to customize the creation of MongoClient. Particularly, we need some way to customize it just before its Builder's build() method is invoked to finalize its creation.

Seems the standardized Hibernate integration mechanism is the best approach as put down in tech doc.
