when choosing a connection through the popup, the "connecting" state is not propagated to the toolbar

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Detach the connection from the editor.
      2. Open the connection chooser from the "Chose connection" quick action.
      3. Choose a connection.
      4. Click OK.

      Expected Results

      The toolbar must show that the connection is loading.

      Actual Results

      The toolbar shows the connection in a disconnected state.
