      This is causing failures in https://github.com/mongodb-labs/mongo-arrow/pull/186
      These failures are unrelated to my changes.

      I spoke with steve.silvester@mongodb.com about working around it. I am going to temporarily make changes to pytest `filterwarnings` in `pyproject.yaml`. This will at least confirm that there are no masked failures. Let's discuss.
