Currently, if a seed list has more than one server and the first responder is a standalone, the cluster type is set to Standalone and all subsequent servers are dropped. A friendlier behavior would be to instead drop the standalone, since the most likely cause of this situation is that a member of the replica set was temporarily removed from it and restarted as a standalone (e.g. for maintenance).
