How much size of large files will be store in MongoDB using GridFS?

      I want to upload 1GB file using GridFS. If I uploaded, where the file is stored?
      is it store in MongoDB or other location?

      Can I use mongodb for DMS (Document Management System) application.
      If so, where all the documents/files will store. How will maintain versions of document/file. (i.e version update). Please suggest me on this.

      Note: In DMS application we can upload > 100GB data
