      Following recent changes implemented in PR#1418, the lastAttempt method now consistently returns false when timeoutMS is present. This modification has prevented the attachment of write concern error labels when CSOT (Client-Side Operation Timeout) is enabled. See the relevant code here. This ticket aims to investigate whether we should attach error labels on each iteration by the spec or if they could remain unattached. Our objective is to ensure that error labels are applied appropriately and to resolve any related issues before our GA (General Availability) release.
