Problem Statement/Rationale
What is going wrong? What action would you like the Engineering team to take?
If I install the shell system-wide on Windows by unchecking the "Install just for you" check box and then upgrade to a newer version, it captures the system-wide installation path (C:\Program Files\mongosh) but has the check box still checked by default. It should default to the value set by the user in the original installation.
Steps to Reproduce
How could an engineer replicate the issue you’re reporting?
Download an older version of the MongoDB Shell and install it on Windows, unchecking the "Install just for you" check box. Then, download the latest version and begin to upgrade.
Expected Results
What do you expect to happen?
The check box should be unchecked by default to match the previous installation.
Actual Results
What do you observe is happening?
The check box is checked by default.
