We are looking for parity between current indexes and search indexes, So given we have helpers for index management of current indexes, the expectation is we would have them for search indexes. Right now Atlas Search indexes are created through the Atlas UI. This project adds the ability to create Atlas Search indexes by sending a createIndexes command to a cluster node, which then forwards it on to the mongot processes - just like $search is forwarded.
