      Not all server downloads happen in Evergreen: GitHub Actions workflows (e.g. .github/workflows/test-installers.yml in Compass) also download server binaries and have no Evergreen role to assume.

      The DevProd team offered to add an OIDC trust relationship with a GitHub environment for this. Work:

      • Coordinate with DevProd on the GitHub environment name and the trust policy.

      This task is optional as it does not download the -latest version, but 8.0.5 which is publicly available. It would be good in case we use the -latest later.
