      As mentioned in the engineering description, we added a note in the docs about mongocrypt on Ubuntu 16.04 that can be dropped, since we’re no longer going to support that platform.

      We stick to the 5.0 roadmap here. Concretely:

      • Add x64 Amazon Linux v2 Docker pkg + E2E tests
      • Add x64 Debian 9 Docker pkg + E2E tests
      • Add x64 Debian 10 Docker pkg + E2E tests
      • Add x64 RHEL 8 Docker pkg + E2E tests
      • Add x64 SLES 12 Docker pkg + E2E tests
      • Add x64 SLES 15 Docker pkg + E2E tests
      • Drop x64 Ubuntu 16.04 Docker pkg + E2E tests (note: we added a note to the docs that Ubuntu 16.04 users may have to install their own mongocryptd, as the one we include in the Linux packages does not work there)
      • Add arm64 Amazon Linux v2 unpack pkg + E2E tests
      • Add arm64 Ubuntu 20.04 unpack pkg + E2E tests
      • Make sure that ppc64le support is limited to RHEL 8.x
      • Make sure that s390x support is limited to RHEL 8.x
      • Double-check that this list is complete
