      Problem Description

      <TAB> in editor mode breaks the shell

      Steps to Reproduce

      • type .editor to enter editor mode
      • type db.<TAB >

      Expected Results

      • either a tab character is inserted or nothing happens

      Actual Results

      • the shell is broken and does not do anything. Ctrl+C throws an exception
