Problem Description

When I trigger backward search in the shell, the results that match what I type are not syntax highlighted.

Steps to Reproduce

• Ctrl-R to trigger reverse search
• type something

Expected Results

• The command that matches is shown next to the prompt and it is syntax highlighted like any other input

Actual Results

• The command that matches is shown next to the prompt but it is not syntax highlighted like any other input
