At startup there is a blocking pop-up with the message "A JavaScript error occured in the main process". See screenshot.
What happened
day 0:
update to Compass version 1.9.0, as proposed by the tool
day 1:
no problem running Compass for a local connection
new connection, the loading screen remains for minutes
I close Compass, then the problem happens when I restart Compass.
Maybe similar to what's described here.
No other solution than reinstalling Compass.
