      In 3.6 sslCA can be a buffer only if the ssl option is set to true but not if the tls option is set to true. There's some confusion around how the options get translated and what can be what. In 4.0 our types and documentation clear this up a bit but we should make sure we make it clear what the changes are.

      We should accept the same types for either ssl and tls options to make usage consistent.
