      Use Case

      As a... user upgrading to the next version of the driver and its dependencies
      I want... a migration guide
      So that... I can easily tell what changes I need to make in order to adopt the new library versions

      • There is a new V7 release guide added to the driver repo
      • Release notes for all major releases clearly outline the required migration steps

      • Release notes for each major release are clear and organized: captured in markdown in a google doc (ready to be pasted into the corresponding releases; follow the conventions established in v6 release notes)
      • The note driver repo contains a migration guide for v7 in etc/notes

      • Coordinate with the docs team to ensure they have everything they need at this stage for the MongoDB manual updates
