What it is: MongoDB Atlas is now available as a native memory provider for the Vercel AI SDK, enabling developers to build AI agents and conversational applications with persistent memory backed by MongoDB.
Who it's for: Developers building AI applications with the Vercel AI SDK, Next.js, and React.
Why it matters: Provides a production-ready memory layer for managing session context, long-term user memory, and semantic recall without custom persistence infrastructure or re-architecting for production.
Context: The BuildRel team has already built this integration and the feature is marked "Ready to Ship" in Aha (AI-84). The Node team's help is needed to own the Launch Readiness Assessment (LRA) process for this feature so it can ship.
