TL;DR

The ABX Frameworks team is requesting help for to review the MongoDB integration changes under NODE-7734, NODE-7781, and NODE-7877. complete their technical assessment, and address applicable threat-model findings before launch. 

Context

A Launch Readiness Assessment (LRA) records whether a feature is ready to launch, with supporting evidence, known risks, and mitigation plans. ABX requires this assessment for roadmap launches.

The threat model review should:

• Assess the implementation against the identified threats in the Threat Model document.
• Document findings and existing mitigations in the same document.
• Create follow-up tickets for any remaining mitigation work and link them in the document.

Sections to complete from the LRA document:

• Security: how customer data is protected and security findings are handled.
• Durability: correctness and protection against data loss.
• Availability: failure behavior and reliability.
• Performance: tested limits and behavior under load.

Given the simplicity of the integration, potential vulnerabilities may already have been mitigated during design or implementation. The review is still required as part of the launch protocol to verify and document that.

We need engineering input because these assessments require knowledge of the implementation and its tests. The existing threat model covers Automated Embeddings; its findings must be checked against the implementation, with necessary fixes or explanations recorded.
