Summary

Users of bundled PHP distributions (e.g. XAMPP, WAMP) regularly encounter issues installing the mongodb extension. The two main ways to address this would entail (a) reaching out to those distributions to provision an up-to-date version of the extension and (b) improving our documentation on installing the extension and troubleshooting installation errors.
