According to PYTHON-757, pymongo considered it invalid to install the pypi bson package because it is 'unmaintained and unrelated to PyMongo'. However, the package seems still somewhat maintained (i.e. activity in 2020, probably low traffic by design) and required by other packages (e.g. cattrs).
Could you please consider namespacing your own "bson" package in order to avoid collisions, please?
