      Standardized, efficient testing across test types. We should not be including the Python version or Topology at the variant level. By using standard task names it is easier to compare and run across variants. This refactor will also give us a smaller overall number of variants and tasks, using an intentional sparse matrix of test factors.

      Time estimate is one engineering week, split up into multiple smaller PRs that can be done as a background task.

      After (est): 794 tasks across 42 build variants
