It appears I'm having the same issue as reported against the php driver...

I'm on RHEL 6.3. The error appears to be quite random. I wonder if it isn't a bug in the OS's SSL implementation instead or some other element of mongo itself, not driver specific (later doesn't seem to make sense though...)?
