Context
Python 3.15 was released in October 2026 (see PEP 790|https://peps.python.org/pep-0790/). Following the driver's official support of Python 3.15 (PYTHON-6077), add support in the other packages.
Track per-package progress in the task tracking sheet.
Definition of done
Each package adds Python 3.15 to its supported Python versions: update packaging metadata, CI/toolchain configuration, and documentation, and run tests on 3.15.
Pitfalls
- Ensure container-based tests run updated Python versions or newer images.
- Packages with C extensions need wheels built for 3.15.
- Expect removals of deprecated APIs in 3.15 to surface new test failures.
- Do not change the minimum Python version in Drivers Evergreen Tools or add Python 3.15 to the toolchain, those are handled independently
