As observed in #2795 and #3490, downloading binaries can take very long - in particular if you are located outside America or Europe. The reason is that we distribute binaries from a US based S3 bucket.

To provide better download times, adding binaries to the npm package is an option. Currently we do it for Android builds, but we need to include:

• node.js binaries (Windows 32/64 bit, MacOS, Linux, Raspberry Pi)
• iOS (Intel, ARM)
