In some use case (ex: https://github.com/realm/realm-java/issues/5528) the user wants to compact a large Realm file, but can't do it on the mobile device because of the memory constraints.

It would be useful to be able to open the file on the desktop which should have enough memory (compared to the mobile) then perform a compaction in order to try to open the Realm again on the mobile device.
