When attempting a new connection to a downed server, or a nonexistent server, the connection attempt hangs indefinitely without error.

Version 1.1.2 threw a Mongo::ConnectionFailure. If this is a new feature, I can't seem to find it in the change logs. Actually, I don't know where the changelogs are, so eh.
