Cost in Eng Weeks: 3 Original | 1 To Date | 3 Est Final

2020-11-04: Maintaining target date to 2020-11-20

      • Oleg is not actively working on this project as he is focusing on two higher priority items, the design for Comprehensive Test Scenario Suite for Planned Maintenance as well as Ruby’s implementation of a Unified Spec Test Format test runner.
      • Emily is spending her final few days with the team chipping at the few remaining tickets.
      • We have set aside some of this work for Katie, our rotating new grad, so we have set the end date to align with the end of her rotation.

2020-10-20: Updating target date to 2020-11-20

      • There are two remaining tickets in this project, one to expose SSLContext to apps, the other to add an integration test around read preferences.

2020-10-06: Setting initial target date to 2020-11-06

      • So far Oleg has updated the forking guidance for Mongoid and the driver, and has fixed incorrect lowercasing of tag names in server descriptions
      • In the coming weeks he aims to add the ability to set explain verbosity in the driver's explain helper and to expose SSLContext to applications.
