The Evergreen tasks that run our test suite don't actually fail when compilation fails (see example here – the logs show compilation errors but the actual task is green). This isn't a huge deal because the compile task will fail, but ideally everything should fail if our code doesn't compile. We should update our Evergreen scripts so that a failure to compile causes a task failure.
