It has been just over a year since mongodb 2.0.0 has been released, which is the required time we're mean to maintain the prior major release version. We should officially EOL the older versions to encourage customers to upgrade and to releive maintenance burden.
On a related note: the CI for the v1 branch of the driver is currently misconfigured: https://evergreen.mongodb.com/waterfall/mongo-rust-driver-stable
Note: bson 1.x is still currently seeing usage through the popular juniper crate, so EOL'ing that has been postponed until they release their 0.16.0 version.
