      socketTimeoutMS is never actually used in the driver when reading from or writing to sockets, though we do parse it from the URI and have a field in ClientOptions for it. This option will be deprecated in DRIVERS-555, so perhaps we shouldn't add support for it and instead deprecate it and document that it does nothing.
