Summary: The goal of this project is to provide clear documentation and examples for users who want to use MongoDB in their Rust web applications. Isabel is going to comment again, but there is no value in us tracking this work in an epic anymore and we are closing this out. Just waiting on external feedback and approval to close out. Not incrementing cost, moving out end date by two weeks to allow time for external feedback, but if we don't hear back by then we will likely close out this epic since there is no more work required of us. Engineer(s): Isabel Atkinson 2021-09-17: Setting target date to 2021-10-01 PR is up on the Actix repo and has been approved by a maintainer, but just needs to be merged. Rocket is doing their own database integration which includes MongoDB, so when they have example we can link to them from our documentation. No more functional work in this project, just waiting for external folks. Isabel is out on PTO until Sept 27, so Kaitlin will be keeping an eye on the items pending outside of Mongo. Maintaining target date of 10/1 and only incrementing spend by 1 week due to PTO. Decrementing final cost estimate by 1 week because no more work on our end is anticipated. Engineer(s): Isabel Atkinson 2021-09-03: Setting target date to 2021-10-01 Actix example is nearly wrapped up, Rocket up next. Isabel is going on PTO for a week and a half, so moving end date to October 1st, though we anticipate there is only about 2 weeks of focused engineering effort remaining. We also think there may be some back and forth on the PRs/slower iteration since we are collaborating beyond MongoDB, so we are building in some time buffer for that.
